26th Birthday | Sepang Gold Coast

happy birthday to me

greetings from Golden Palm Tree!

#1   de Palm Villa.

seriously, I don't understand why guests car park is located quite a distance from de lobby. I've seen this as one of de shortcomings even though there are helpful staffs who offer to carry your luggages once you step down from de car. it's just too much of inconvenience here.

a room reservation was made at RM530+ for Premier Travelers Palm Villa at 2D1N (rate not including breakfast). upon check-in, we were upgraded to Canary Palm Villa at rate of RM890+ equipped with 2 queen sized beds and 2 bathrooms. this was perhaps de lucky day=)

queuing up for buggy service.
this is how people travel around de "palm tree".

de front desk obviously did not do a great job as de key card given was not functioning in de first place (what de?!). this has forced us to make a trip back to de lobby (together with our luggages) and after so much effort was done thank god we were able to access into our room at de second attempt. why so much complaints on my birthday?

de Iphone moment.
testing with de panorama feature.

work desk with awesome view.
but obviously not doing work =P

bathroom.
ehem I found hairs in de face towel and some in de bath tub.
that's right, I'm complaining.

de queen sized bed.
with fluffy pillows =)

munching corner.

#2   Tour around Sepang Gold Coast.

chilling area.

Buloh Bar.
as depicted by its name- decorative bamboo (buloh).

Bagan Lalang Beach.
not really a place for deep blue sea. in fact, it was on de opposite and was nothing to shout about. we could not capture de sunset as well since it was a cloudy day (no sun!).

#3   Dinner @ Ocean Restaurant, Tanjung Sepat.

it took us approximately half an hour drive to arrive at de destination. though we missed de sunset scenic view from de Lover's Bridge but thank god we weren't late for dinner.

Steamed Lala (clams) with Chinese Cooking Wine, Ginger & Chilli.
these smiling lalas were really fresh.

 Fried Crispy Squid.
awesome finger food, yummy!

Sweet & Sour Crab.
sadly to say de dish was way under my expectation. definitely not de best but it was fresh nonetheless. not a meaty crab though.

Sizzling Oyster Omelette (ojian).
I still prefer de traditional way of serving ojian instead of having them served on top of a fried egg.

Stir-fry vegetables with Garlic (choy-tam).

total bill came out at RM90 for 5 dishes (for 2 persons). definitely worth a second visit owing to its affordable price.

#4   Chilling night @ Buloh Bar.

Buloh Bar at night.

Chocolate Fudge Cake.
dessert of de day- to show that I actually ate a cake on my birthday. I think I missed out de candles but no bother.

#5   Breakfast on room service.

instead of paying RM45+ per person for hotel buffet breakfast in de next morning, we chose to order in as our first meal of de day.

rise and shine!
villas fan out mimicking de shape of a palm tree leave. unfortunately, de complete palm tree is only able to be captured at a bird's eye view.

breakfast is always de most important meal of de day.
hence, de green light to eat more.

American & Continental Breakfasts.
de dishes were not served pipping hot and not warm either.
oh well, nice to see.

Croissants with Butter & Jam.
lovin' every single bite because it was warm and crispy. croissants were de best among all that we have ordered. pancake on de other hand, was simply doughy and forgettable. seriously, I did not expect it to turn out this way.

another year has come. happy birthday (=
