Christmas eve | The Whisky Bar, Changkat Bukit Bintang, KL

it was no longer counting down for Christmas just like what we would do when we were young. all we want for Christmas eve is just a good meal.

we were hoping to spend de night in El Cerdo but too bad it was fully booked as de dinner thought only came in by random. hence, we turned into The Whisky Bar as de boy said they actually belonged to de same boss.

although not up to de level to be able to appreciate its Whisky, nevertheless, we felt comfortable to be here. it has nice ambiance.

just like any other restaurants, de menu was restricted to only certain choices due to festive day. as expected, what you can get obviously would be their Christmas menu!

Christmas menu- let de night began with appetizer
Traditional Swedish Gravelax- Marinated Salmon   RM38+
(served with dill mustard sauce)
it didn't really hold my hunger because I'm not really a raw food person. they should served more greens (it was hidden under) as things got slightly salty in de end.

Christmas Turkey Tenderloin   RM68+
with traditional German stuffing, brussel sprouts and chestnut.
de turkey dose once a year- a lil' piece of turkey is something that you must not miss for Christmas.

Spaghetti Seafood Aglio Olio.
mixed seafood toasted with garlic oil, fresh basil and chilli.
this was something out of de Christmas menu. and with its generous amount of fresh seafood available, it made both of us happy.

dessert to satisfy de sweet tooth.
German Christmas Dessert-
Baked Apple with Cinnamon Ice-cream   RM22.50+
I would prefer apple crumble (much more) instead of baked apple. and I have to say that cinnamon ice-cream is definitely not a common favourite (at least it's not our favourite). oh too bad, not so satisfy.

it's still an awesome night and
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE =)
