Apgujeong Korean BBQ & Teppanyaki | Solaris Mont Kiara

traditionally Korean starters.
Apgujeong served an average variety of starters.

Chicken jumulruk   RM28
nicely browned and grilled to perfection. grilled mushroom trunks were equally yummy.

Moksal (grilled pork neck)   RM28
Korean grilled is always something that won't go wrong. de downside for Apgujeong is de absence of exhaust hood at each table. therefore, you would probably leave de place smelling like dinner. fortunately, you can choose to sit at outdoor to reduce de smell of meat on clothes while enjoying your meal.

Japchae   RM30
stir-fry Korean noodles (sweet potato noodles) in sesame oil with pork (sometimes chicken or beef) together with a delicious combination of vegetables, typically sliced capsicums, carrots, onion, and mushrooms. love its generous portion at Apgujeong. definitely a yummy one, however, I still think Kimchi Mom owns de best Japchae.

Dwaeji duruchigi (sauteed pork)  RM70
seriously, this was a huge portion which could sustain around 5-6 persons. this plate of fiery pork made a good companion for rice. compared to de usual, Apgujeong's was more spicy.

Tong Dwaeji Galbi (Korean-style pork ribs)   RM30
grilled pork ribs marinated with sauce tasted similar to de familiar barbeque sauce.
it was okay but nothing special.

Godeungeo gui (Grilled Mackerel)   RM30
it came with a ganjang-based sauce (Korean soy sauce made from fermented soybeans). anyway, this might be my least preferred dish to order as compared to de available pork dishes. and seriously de fish has too many bones!

I feel like a happy Korean today=)
