Wan Tan Mee Sg. Besi 新街场路全蛋面 | Jalan Sungai Besi, KL

he brought me to this long-existing place by coincidence. seriously, I would never spot this place as it is barely indistinguishable. I mean who will stop by at a busy highway just because they crave for a plate of wanton mee (like us)?

Standard Wanton Mee   RM6.00 (M)
just like any other ordinary char siew, it wasn't de best and in fact, it was slightly hard. thank god de wanton mee was able to cover de flaw as it was pretty good on itself. other than de usual pickled chillies, here they do serve dried shrimp sambal paste as well. tasted kinda peculiar with sambal (too sweet), I still prefer de traditional pickled chillies.

Wanton Mee with Curry Wild Boar   RM5.50 (S)--- recommended
this is one of their specialty as not many places serve curry wild boar. with indian curry leaves throwing in, it was very aromatic. like it so much as it was blending in perfectly with de wanton mee... yummy!

de stall operates at odd hours starting from 7pm onwards to late night. there are a huge variety of wanton mee to choose from de menu, including ginger duck, Hakka stewed pork, pork leg vinegar, and also yong tau foo. truly a late diners' paradise.
