Palsaik Samgyupsal Korean BBQ | Solaris Mont Kiara

8 flavours pork belly.
pork belly goodness served on a long wooden board with 8 unique flavours: ginseng, wine, pine leaves, garlic, herb, curry, miso paste, and hot pepper. Pal saek samgyupsal is literally translated as “8 colour belly pork”. an ala carte costs RM35 but it comes with two pieces of pork belly at your selected flavour.

a Palsaik 8 colour set menu (3-4 persons)   RM142
it consists of 8 flavours pork belly (one piece for each), a pot of seafood soup, one-year-old premium kimchi, deodeok (lanceolate root, a type of plant), and greens. till de end of de day, de remaining soup can be soaked with rice or noodles at your choice.

types of banchan is limited but they do provide refillable kimchee and bean sprouts until you have enough. for pork belly, de staff will grill de first 4 flavours- ginseng, wine, pine leaves, and garlic on de hot pan and de remaining 4 flavours- herb, curry, miso paste, and hot pepper thereafter. some flavours didn't have distinctive taste, but of all my personal favourites were ginseng, garlic, and curry =)

Korea’s rainbow pork is creating ripples around de globe, and finally now in Malaysia.

it is advisable to make reservation beforehand in order to avoid long wait. another dining tips is to dress in your most comfortable clothes because you'll definitely smell like a Korean BBQ after meal. so why bother to dress up nicely since you'll not look any better with oily face anyway =P

PS. radish cube is for pan cleaning, do not eat.
