Ante Kitchen and Bar | Solaris Dutamas

with so many interesting eateries mushrooming in Publika, we are catching up slowly on another piggy heaven that I think pork lovers shouldn't miss. but well, this place has been there for quite some time so nothing is new =P

(from upper left and clockwise):
#1 Chef's Tomasco Soup   RM15
a creamy tomato soup that well flavoured and appetizing. de piece of crouton was pretty oily to taste and was quite forgettable.
#2 Seafood Marinara   RM38 - recommended
seafood marinara was loaded with mussels and fresh prawns. taste wise was okay but I personally think that it was kinda pricey considering de amount of seafood given (and 4-5 pieces of arugula).
#3 Crispy Pork Trotter Salad   RM27.50 - highly recommended
deep fried crispy pork trotters on Lollo leaves with slices of refreshing mango, young papaya, sprinkles of pomegranate, and peanuts. pomegranate create wonder as they produce little burst of juice in de mouth. oh and de crunchy crackling pork skin just make you feel like you want to order more of these salads. I can has more salad, can I?
#4 Curry Cream Pasta   RM25 - recommended
not overloaded by de curry powder, de mild curry cream was just right. loving de pork loin that mimics char siew (however, my sister claimed de previous version was tastier- served pork loin and crumbed button mushrooms).

(from upper right and clockwise):
#5 The Real Bacon Carbonara   RM26
de true crispy bacon bits but not turkey nor beef strips. creamy, yummy, and if only they could make it less salty.
#6 Enoki Bacon Skewers   RM26
bacon wrapped with enoki mushrooms and served with chilli dipping sauce tastier if we were given mustard. it wasn't as delicious as expected because de bacon was kinda dry.
#7 Chunky Mushroom Soup   RM12
a creamy mushroom blend, favourite by default.

#8 The Hogger Pork Ribs   RM75 - recommended
finger licking boney with BBQ sauce and served with fries, coleslaw, and potato salad with apple (although I think fat fries would add extra points). enjoying de barbaric moment de best is to eat with both hands but you don't want it to happen maybe can ask for take away and do it at home, so good!

#9 Crispy Pork Knuckle   RM78
pork knuckle was cut into mouth bite pieces and served with sauerkraut, mint sauce, and apple sauce. surprisingly, apple sauce wasn't that flavourful but de mint sauce with a hint of spiciness did hit de spot (peculiar for not being mutton but pork). everyone was aiming for de crispy pork skin (again) as it tasted much better than de meat. for de pork knuckle you can even bring de bones back for broth. #whatchinesedobest

I'm a happy pig right now.
