KyoChon 1991 | Pavilion KL

they served fried chicken (but no beer) and you will expect de chicken to be a little expensive. but come on, it is premium chicken and good oil produced quality fried chicken: for de chicken like you've never had before (as claimed).
KyoChon served healthy fried chicken using fresh ingredients.
in KyoChon, order is based on smartphone that somehow link to de kitchen (please don't get offended when you see waiter with his phone when he's taking your order). not sure how it really works but I'm quite amused with de speedy service provided, even though a minimum 15 minutes waiting time is required for de chicken to be served.

Set C   RM56.90 (served for 2 persons)
8 salsal strips (Jambalaya/Honey mustard/red dipping sauce) w/ blueberry salad ---honey mustard recommended
4 drumsticks (original/red) w/ mandarin salad ---original recommended
2 drinks (Yuza/Plum Tea) ---Yuza recommended
2 soup
2 steamed rice (additional RM2.00 for garlic rice)
Egg at additional RM1.00 each
we loved everything except de garlic rice because it was too moist and wasn't as fragrant as expected. for blueberry and mandarin salad, de salad wasn't really served with "blueberry" nor "mandarin" but it was just a choice of salad dressing. I personally felt blueberry tasted a bit peculiar but overall it was still acceptable. red simply means spicy.

(from top to bottom):
Red (8 pcs)   RM16.00
Honey (8 pcs)   RM18.00 ---highly recommended
we've ordered regular servings which came with a combination of wingette and drumette. honey was my highly recommended choice. as for de red series, it was truly hot and tongue-numbing and it wasn't really my chicken.

Korean Fried Chicken, it is now my finger licking good KFC (=
