House renovation diary

#1 Choosing an Interior Designer
I kinda have a lot of thoughts when it comes to house renovation because it is my childhood dream. initially we have planned to visit nXinfinitX but we missed it because they are closed on weekends. we chose The Roof Studio based on our first visit because we were kinda lazy to think felt de package offered is within our budget (and his designs more or less suit our taste). anyway, a little extra will probably be expected because I+HE (no longer "I" only) always have some other ideas in mind.

#2 Choosing a Fengshui master
this is de boy's preference so I kinda leave it to him. with RM650 (per visit), services include house fengshui audit and cycle annual (Liu-nian 流年) for two. only suggestions given to adopt small changes and normally this fengshui master has to visit de house before and after renovation. I just need some time to digest these feng shui theory.

I'll do more updates on house renovation soon (=

  1. Eastern countries seem to have their house decorating options under control. These 'ID' designs seem to be quick and easy. I like this one as it looks quite familiar. The light colours and the low lighting give it a cozy homely feel. It would be interesting to compare these designs to local options and see what is available. An apartment always looks good when everything looks nice and new!
